Birthing

Birthing, I know a lot about it, I have done it 7 times. Every story is different but I want to tell you about Leif's. I wanted to be wonder women and do it all natural at least once. I mean my little Sister has them that way and if she can do it I can too, right? So without all of the gorry details, Our beautiful boy was born, without any meds. I thought I was going to die. I think that I need to mention that my kids are all born posterier, oh yah and I was induced. And now that I am complaining, Amy's kids have tiny heads when they are born. And I really mean little, not odd looking, just little. She has very beautiful fairy babies, with tiny button noses and wonderful big eyes. They grow to be very normal sized gorgeous children but I really don't think that I should have to compete with her's. So I did it once, and that was all I needed to do. The last 2 births I had I asked for the epidural before they even broke my water so I was in no pain at all. I love anesthesiologists!

But with all 7 of my children's births, I must say that it didn't matter how long the deliverys took, how much pain I experienced or how bad the hospital food was, I was truely in love. I could not have been happier, I could not even remember the pain when I looked into their beautiful eyes. They where ours, Neal's and mine together. That is quite something!

  1. Seriously, it's the best thing I have ever done! I have such tender memories of seeing my babies for the first time, wondering who they were and what they would be like when they got older. I am so glad I chose to be a mother.
