Another Miracle!

I went to a Relief Society meeting last week and sat by a newish gal in our ward. I don't know her very well but I really like her. Her daughter walked up, and we discovered that she was my daughter Elle's age. Then we found out that they have the same school teacher. This Lady then told me that her daughter wants to move back to there old house because she doesn't have any friends. And then she looks at me weird and says, "your daughters name is Elle" I said yes and she told me that a week earlier their teacher asked the kids to write their three favorite friends. This little girl wrote her teachers name and the 2 duty aids from recess, then Elle came over to her and asked, how do you spell your name. This girl told her and Elle wrote this girls name as one of her friends. The girl then erased one of the duty aids names and wrote in Elle's. That weekend the parents and this girl went looking for kids her age in our neighborhood to help her find friends. We happened to be gone that weekend and so we missed them. Three days later I am sitting by this desperate Mother and realizing that the Lord had set this all up so that the Mom's could make the connection to get theses girls together. They have talked and played a lot this last week.

It may not seem much of a miracle to most people but to a Mom, a friendless child is heart breaking. You pray and do everything in your power to fix the situation but there is only so much you can do. I think that Elle was lead to befriend this little girl and that it took another miracle to get the Moms on board with His plan. It is a win win because the little girl is delightful and Elle loves her.
